For general cleaning on Glint rugs, always use a direct suction vacuum and not a rotating head. Hang your shag rug over a rail and shake or hit to remove loose matter. Cut off loose yarn with scissors. Immediately blot up spilled liquids with a white paper towel or cloth.
Always blot the stain with the cleaning liquid and do not rub, as the pile will be damaged. If a stain is not diminishing, contact a professional carpet cleaner.
Do not machine wash steam clean your rug. We recommend that professional cleaning should be via the dry cleaning method only. Never utilise hot water extraction or wet shampooing procedures which can cause shrinkage.
