Working with Jung from Studio Jung is always a treat. Her sunny disposition and artistic flair are a fabulous combination for our Melbourne team. Jung came to us with a brief to complete this Mountain Retreat lounge nook with a custom shaped rug. Cathedral Mountain Retreat is not just a Bed & Breakfast, it is also a Recovery Facility. A luxurious sanctuary for people who need time out from the hectic stresses of life, and additionally, has a special facility to nurture people in dire need of rest and recovery be it from illness or disaster. The retreat was designed to be a holistic and naturalistic haven serving locally sourced produce.

Near the kitchen and dining area is a break out lounge with picturesque views of acres of rolling green land overlooking Mount Cathedral.

Jung and her client Kerrilee Bolto loved the Conway design for its strength and ability to be customised into an unusual shape. We chose a dusty olive base in 100% NZ Wool and a soft warm art silk silver detailing.

The results are stunning - we are really proud of this space and what it will bring to the healing of many.
